It was wonderful to see so many volunteers from British Gas in our school grounds today....
Treating and staining handrails.....
Replacing play bark in the EYFS area.......
Renovating the handrails leading to the playground.........
Levelling and re-cementing uneven flag stones leading to the bird hide.....
Weeding and planting up some of our flower beds.......
Treating the fence near the entrance, alongside the playground and applying fresh hammerite to the iron railings at the side entrance.......
Preparing fence post mix to stabilise some of our loose bird hide benches, stepping stones and wooden posts........
Woodfilling cracks and crevices in our EYFS play equipment
Having a well deserved coffee break.....
A big 'Shout Out' to our governor, Ben, and his team of wonderful volunteers from British Gas.You have all done an amazing job! (Hope you don't ache too much tomorrow!)
