Brigshaw High School 2019 GCSE Results

Our Best Ever Results: all attainment headlines improved on last year!
We are delighted that our students have once again had their hard work and efforts rewarded.
60 Grade 9s were awarded (22 in English)
5 or more passes including English and Maths = 59%
4+ in English & Maths = 67% (above national average)
Subjects above national averages: English Language and English Literature, Maths, Biology,
Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, French, German, Drama, Music, PE
Top performers are:
● Shona Lally: 10 grade 9, 1 grade 8 (Only 250 students in the entire country achieved
this!)
● Tiegan Bowers: 7 grade 9, 2 grade 8, 1 grade 7
● Phoebe Webster-Rudge: 2 grade 9, 4 grade 8, 4 grade 7, 1 Distinction star

We are incredibly proud of all our students and teachers who worked relentlessly to achieve these
outstanding results.
It’s congratulations all round for Brigshaw High School who have just been officially judged again
as GOOD by Ofsted. It’s an incredible achievement for students and staff and wonderful news for
the local community.
