After welcoming the children and parents/careers and giving them a brief overview of our school vision and ethos I introduced our Year 6 children, the 'living product' of an education at Lady Elizabeth Hastings school. In pairs, the Year 6 children showed families around our outdoor environment, Forrest school, the ARK, and Main school. The Year 6 children gave thorough commentaries of life at Lady Elizabeth Hastings and clearly and honestly answered the questions asked. As I met with each family as they left, they were full of praise of their guides, with a number of families commenting that their wish was for their young child to grow up to be as polite, informative and confident as our Year 6 children.
