Gascoigne Class Assembly

It's always nerve wracking going first... and after only 9 days back at school. Well done Gascoigne class and Miss Knight for working together and giving us an insight into all the hard work you have been doing. It was fascinating hearing about your research into the life of Lady Betty and how you discussed her christian characteristics and how she lived these out. We enjoyed the example of 'hot seating' you did and the children's explanation of how they were able to put themselves in Lady Elizabeth's shoes. The poetry written by the children about Lady Elizabeth really illustrated her character and actions through the children's use of well thought out metaphors. With examples of the maths and music you have been doing in class we can really see that Gascoigne class has really hit the ground running with some great learning and a super presentation of this. Thank you, we look forward to your next assembly in the spring term.
