Huge thanks go to Mrs Flynn and to her musicians for their amazing recital
on Monday afternoon. Leo opened the recital, setting the standard for
performances, playing a duet with Mrs Flynn on the clarinet. Finlay in Y1 was
amazing on the Ukulele and he even had the confidence to join in with the advanced
ukulele group as they played Shotgun at the finale. Eliette, Chloe and Jenna
each played solos on the piano showing everyone how much they had learnt since
their last time playing in front of the school at Christmas. Tom was fantastic playing
the guitar… an Ed Sheeran in the making?
Both the beginners and advanced Ukulele groups played melodies,
showcasing their talents. Well done to every one involved, you were stars.
