Day Spring Church

On Monday, Day Spring Church came to deliver their final Collective Worship for this academic year. The focus on Monday was centred around telling the truth. Anne and Mike showed us how telling lies is like collecting rocks in a back pack, as one lie tends to lead to another… and another… They explained how telling lies can weigh us down. They then read Matthew 7:35 from the Bible and discussed the importance of truthfulness. Before leaving, Anne and Mike presented all the Y6 children with a book called ‘Moving on’ to support them with their transition to secondary school
