Today, the Mad Scientist turned up at LEH.
He started with a lesson in thermodynamics.... just how did Eggbert get into the conical flask? and back out again?
Then more Chemistry... testing to discover whether a solution was an Acid or an Alkaline ... if the red cabbage juice turned red the solution was an Acid
and blue/green an Alkaline
Then in was on to Physics and we learnt about Thomas Edison and electricity and how it like to 'Earth'.
Finally, it was combustion.... and we all survived.
The Mad Scientists was amazing and everyone got involved. If you want to do more Exciting Experiments and Practical science investigations, we will be running an after school club soon so you can. Make sure you filling in the letter sent home ASAP! as places will be limited.
