Our new Year 6s have really stepped up to the mark, and on Thursday, they made me feel so proud of them and their journey so far at LEH as they delivered their manifestos for Head Boy and Girl in front of the whole school. On Friday, the whole school voted and we will be sharing who has been elected to champion our school to visitors and at events in Good Work Assembly this Friday 14th September.

We're BACK!
Despite the ICT gremlins, I think it's fair to say we've all had a great first week back. All our new starters have arrived and all have made a very positive start to their learning at Lady Elizabeth Hastings School.

End of Year 6 Bar-b-que and sleepover fun!
The sun continued to shine for the penultimate event in our academic school year, but the children still wanted to wear their leavers' Hoodies!'
Thank you to all our wonderful parents who have supported the school and their children throughout the years....we have many fond memories and will miss you! We wish you all the very best for the future. For some of you, we are looking forward to seeing you back in school in a few weeks, relaxed, refreshed and ready to do it all over again! Have a lovely holiday.
Bikeability
Congratulation to all our Year 6 children who participated in their Bikeability training at the end of term. The trainers took the children out onto the local roads and were very impressed with their ability to ride safely and pay attention to hazards that they might come across in the future, such as parked cars and junctions where visibility is restricted. Well done to the children and many thanks to Graham and David from Cycle Leeds.
End of Year 6 Show-Oliver!
I was so proud of our Year 6 children in their end of Year production of Oliver! You can see from these superb photos what skilled actors and actresses they are. Every one of them deserves an Oscar!

Transition Day for our new September starters.
We were delighted to welcome our new children to school yesterday (and their Mummies, Daddies, Grannies and Grandads!) It is hard to imagine that these will be our 'Leavers' in 2025!
Looking forward to seeing you all again next week.
