Tuesday lunchtime choir practice

These children are practising hard for their up and coming musical concert later on this term on the 27th June. They practise weekly and collectively they are creating a great 'sound'!

 

The Summer Term starts on Monday 16th April and it looks like the sun has finally decided to shine.

Our Passion Play

A group of 20 children from Year 1 to Year 6, participated in a Passion Play at school on Maundy Thursday, and re enacted the final hours of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. Scenes were acted out in the school driveway, the hall, the shared area, a classroom and the playground. The audience followed the action as it unfolded in different locations around the school.

A massive thank you to Mrs Muralee for writing and directing the play and to all the children who learnt their lines and solo parts so well. It was a powerful and moving performance about the most important event of the year for many Christians all over the World.  

'Backpack kid new quirky dance move takes over the dance floor!

We had great fun at the school disco on Wednesday evening showing off our fast and furious arm moves.....lots of 'Backpack Kids and Backpack Teachers'!!

Coding fun!

The Year 5 children used their coding skills yesterday, to create a spelling test. Fantastic focus and concentration which ultimately led to success! Well done, Year 5, and thank you Miss Walker from Queen Ethleburga's College.

Mother's Day Service

Thank you, children, for all your thoughts, ideas and hard work in performing a special assembly dedicated to Mums everywhere. Many of our Christian Values were mentioned in our messages about our generous, friendly, compassionate, loyal and forgiving Mums. We wish them a very happy Mother's Day.
