Archbishop Sentamu's visit
Phew!.....What a busy day The Archbishop of York had yesterday on his pilgrimage around the Diocese of York.
Aberford, Micklefield, Fairburn, Ledston, Ledsham and Selby all in one day! We were delighted that he still managed to fit in some quality time with the children, parents, staff and governors at our school.
He visited each class, walked with the children to the bus stop, met (and had a photograph taken with Stuart!) and sampled some delicious cheeses from a special cheeseboard provided by Cryer and Stott whilst chatting to children and staff in our After School Club.
We made the Archbishop a little late for the Prayer Service at Ledsham Church ..... I hope he and the parishioners of Ledsham didn't mind too much!
