Jack expertly programmed a space buggy to explore the Planet Mars........

Mrs Dews was helped by a very young and talented computer programmer!

Isabelle, Lewis and Harrison made parachutes to ensure that their Kinder Eggs had a soft crash landing. (They quickly discovered that the egg tasted the same whatever the landing!!)

Thank you to all staff at the STEM Learning Centre in York...... we will be back!

Just January!

I can't believe it! The month of January has just flown by. I've posted
a few photos of some of the activities we have been getting up to.

Tony, from 'Beyond Inspired' has been running a Friday afternoon fitness club with a group of our children.

Children in Mrs Dew's Class have been creating 3-D 'food art' Can you spot the pear, runner beans, pineapple top, sweetcorn, 'cheerios'  and cabbage leaves on this friendly looking creature? A fantastic piece of artwork, Jules!

A number of parents joined us in the library on a Monday afternoon to help prepare for our Church Experience in Ledsham Church.

Some pre-schoolers helped us too!

Carols by Candlelight

A fantastic end to the Autumn Term and a brilliant way to get into the festive spirit! Music is well and truly alive at Lady Elizabeth Hastings thanks to the sterling work of Miss B and Mrs F. A lot of foot tappin', swaying' and clappin' went on during our KS2 musical medley, particularly during 'Rockin' Robin'!  Well done to our Choir and instrumentalists and thank you parents and relatives for adding to the amazing atmosphere!
