Collective Worship Leaders

Over the past two weeks the children's confidence in leading Collective Worship has really grown. Today, children from Hastings performing a play they've written about someone needing a lot of help - a coach getting a team trained for a sporting fixture. The children went on to lead a discussion with the rest of school about the Christian Values we call upon and live out when helping someone. They finished the reflection with a prayer asking for trust and friendship to achieve.

Y2 Multi skills competition at Brigshaw High School

Well done to all our Year 2 children who chose to represent the school at the BLP Y2 multi skills competition. All the children put in tremendous effort to work as a team and score lots of points in each of the 8 events that ranged from hurdling to distance throwing.

Opening the book

It was great to welcome the Open the Book performers back again to share the next instalment of the story of creation in Genesis. Again their performance brought the story alive in an innovative memorial way. Thank you, we look forward to your next visit.
