A reminder to all parents, Usborne Books are on display in the shared area all this week and parents can browse before or after appointments with teachers. A great way of getting some presents and stocking fillers for Christmas. Happy multi-tasking!

More produce from our allotment
Children in Gascoigne Class decided to harvest the pumpkins and beetroot from our allotment
yesterday and with the wheatsheaf made by H and G's Grandmother, the produce made a very fine display. It seems along time ago since the children planted the seeds back in early Spring.

We are Scientists and Geographers!
Children in Wheeler Class have been taking advantage of the superb weather we have been having in September, to make scientific measurements and recordings to study weather patterns as part of their Cornerstones topic 'Splendid Skies'.
Lotherton scientists have been investigating the properties of different materials to see which makes the best soundproofing barrier for a 'Talking Tin'. You could hear a pin drop as they wrote their conclusions!
And Bobby has been identifying the World's continents.......
